Atera is looking for a talented Community Manager to join the Customer Success team and be our customer-facing brand ambassador. This position entails community management, social media, promotional events and cross-departmental coordination. Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to develop creative, original and engaging content.  


  • Complete ownership of Atera’s Community Channels (Facebook, Reddit, and Slack)  
  • Manage the discussion, monitor group sentiment and post engaging industry-related content 
  • Set and implement social media campaigns to align with Product launches and localize when needed 
  • Serve as the liaison between Customer Success, Marketing, Support and Product Teams 
  • Analyze the company’s digital community and customer communications strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements 
  • Research social media trends in the IT industry to adapt content accordingly 
  • Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness 
  • Stay updated with new Atera products and features  
  • Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists 
  • Monitor and report on customer feedback to provide valuable insights to the Product team 


  • At least 3 years of experience as a community manager, preferably in a SaaS company  
  • Native English speaker 
  • Experience launching community initiatives  
  • Data-driven; Ability to identify and track relevant metrics  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels  
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask  
  • Advantage – strong technical orientation
